I replaced the upper control arms on my 97 XLT a couple years ago due to needing new ball joints. The upper on the passenger side was 2 piece, the new one was 1 piece. I recently went to get it aligned again, and they are telling me I need the after market camber adjustment kit to get it how it should be.

My question is, should I go with the camber kit, or put a 2 piece upper (which I have laying around) on there or can I not replace the ball joint on it?

The two piece upper has nothing to do with it. The stock camber bolts don't allow for proper alignment.

i went with the 1 piece UCA, i took it in to get aligned, guy said it was within specs when i drove it in. this was about 1500 miles ago. i have not noticed any strange tire wear.
