"airbag light suddenly came on"

Is there anyone who knows how to turn off the airbag light icon on my dashboard? It flashes for a few seconds when I first start the engine. Then the light stays on. This just started two days ago. Thanks, M.A.

What is the sequence of the light flashes ( LFC )? For example 3 flashes a pause and then 7 flashes.

Hi, thanks for replying. The sequence goes like this when in park:
(flash 1-2-3) (off for 2 seconds) (flash 1-2-3) (off for 2 seconds)
It kept doing the same pattern while in park; But while I'm driving,
the light stays on solid. Do you think I can fix it? Mary Ann
