another 4x4 question

When I push the 4x4 button there is a clicking noise and the 4x4 light lits. When driving at about 25mph it's like I hit a rock each time the front left wheel turns. I assume this is because of a bad auto hub or could there be another reason for this problem.

Are you doing this when you are on dry pavement? If so, that is why. The front wheels spin at different speeds when turning, so if they have full traction, the driveshaft binds up, and that is what you are feeling.

I did this when driving on dry pavement but even when I'm going straight there is a "knock" in the front left wheel.
