back seat fold down locked.

my back seat wont fold down, one side of the long seat come loose but something holding the inner side. afraid to stick my hand down there and pinch it. any ideas. The short seat has no problem

the same mechanism that locks them UP is used to lock them DOWN

have you tried pulling the handle?

My old 95 did the same thing, the right seat would fold down just fine, but the left seat wouldnt, and it was like something was bound up, no matter how hard I pushed, I looked at all the hinges and never did figure it out before I sold the truck

that didnt help for my car, u can wiggle all u want, and it wont move.
