BFG 265/75 -R16's ON 98 XLT?

I was wondering if i could fit BF Goodrich All Terain A/T KO 265/75 - R16's would fit on my stock 98 XLT without any modification. I noticed sport and EB owners had to shave the molding down a bit but the XLT doesn't have any...does anyone see a problem?

Thanks!

They will rub badly.

You need atleast a 2 inch lift to keep them from rubbing.

I believe that's the equivalent of a 32" tire. I can't imagine you wouldn't rub somewhere in the front at full turn. I am sure someone here has experience.

i have them on mine and all i did was the TT, as long as you dont a large bump goin like 50 you will be fine, mine rub off road sometimes, it is really hit and miss.

If you have runningboards, you'll have to cut the front part of them(that's inside the fenderwell), it'll rub on your swaybar when you're doing sharp turns, and when going over bumps or dips, the tires will rub on the top of your fenderwell. That's the experience I had when I had those size tires with no lift. Go for the TT and shackles(or add a leaf), it probably won't ever rub unless you're doing sharp turns.
