I have the following problem with my 2016 XLT Explorer 150.000 kms:

A/C is works fine at any speed. I arrive home and turn the ignition off and then I restart the vehicle within 5 minutes. After restart, no air comes from the vents ...

I have to wait for 2-5 minutes then the air will suddenly start to come from the vents.
If I am in a hurry, I just tap with my hand on the black plastic that covers the blower motor and the motor will start immediately.
I ignored the problem for 1 month and now while driving and the fan is on MAX, The air flow is constant most of the times but it will fluctuate sometimes then returns to normal (without any adjustment from my side)

Is the problem from the motor or from the resistor?

Does the XLT have an 'AUTO' for the HVAC? If so, is that set ON? Did you set the A/C to MAX yourself? It's not unusual for the blower to change speeds if it is attempting to maintain a 'set' temperature.

Yes fan speed is set manually to max.

Auto button is off
