Brush Guard question regarding a 2000 Eddie Bauer Explorer.

Hey i've been looking to get a brush guard for my 2000 ford explorer eddie bauer and i ran across one for a 2001 ford explorer sport, and i was wondering if that one would fit mine or not? i've noticed with a majority of the brush guards that the years range from 97-01 for a particular one. I've also seen situations where they say it cant fit on a sport though too.

I have a 97 brushguard on my 99 just a little modification.

The frames are all the same. The 01+ sports have a metal plate which you must trim. Yours does not have that. The main difference in brush guards has to do with the lower valence. You will most likely need to trim this. Anything 95-01 will bolt up.
