Cd changer problems

My cd changer will not eject my cd's. It is original equipment. Is there a way i can eject them without breaking it?

Pop off the cup holder and take out the kleenex/coin holder, you'll see the changer conector, disconect it and reconect it again so it resets, that's how I do it on my 97
