Just replaced radiator and water pump, including all hoses and thermostat. All working fine, but wondering why the return hose from engine to radiator collapses upon itself (like it is under a strong vacuum). This makes a very strong thumping drumbeat like sound. I know this can't be normal, could have I gotten a bad hose (bought from a Ford Dealer)?

Thanks for any input..

Ken

Did you replace the cap as well? Old cap could be bad or the new one is the wrong PSI.

replace or check cap and make sure that you can blow thru the reservoir line, might be blocked, it has to be one or the other

Thank you for your feedback...seems to have been the resevoir line.
