I am about to do a complete rebuild on my 92X, 4X, with 250K. The Haynes book says that new connecting rod bolts must be used since they are of the "torque to yield" kind and stretch when torqued to specs. The problem is I am unable to find just a conecting rod bolt set. Does anyone have any info. on whether replacement is really necessary and where new bolts might be found?
Thanks!
