Ok I did a search and found that the d-35 TTB and d-35 IFS are different. They have different carriers and take different lockers. But do they have the same ring and pinion? If everything else is different, and they don't even take the same ring and pinion, how can they both be called d-35s?

I'm looking for cheap 4.10s to put in my TTB and only the IFS d-35s came stock with 4.10s, so if the gears will fit my TTB, then I can find some pretty cheap.

The TTB D35 uses reverse cut gears, while the SLA D35 uses standard cut gears. Think of the ring and pinion as being pretty much the exact same size, but one's gears look like this /////////////// and the others look like this \\\\\\\\\\\\\\\. So no, 4.10s out of a 2nd Gen X will not work in your 1st Gen.
