Alright. So I ran into this problem going into work early this morning (in a thunderstorm, of course) and my driver's side wiper arm stopped working. I pulled over to the side of the road, pulled out a screw driver, and took off the cowl in order to snap the linkage back onto the pivot nut. I turned back on my wipers and got one swipe across the wind shield before the linkage popped back off. I put it back together thinking that it might have not completely connected, but got the same end result whenever I turned my wipers back on. Needless to say I had to call off so I wouldn't kill myself on the way to work. Does anyone know of a way to fix this or should I take it into a shop for it to be taken care of?
