Has anyone replaced/repaired the following: 4X4 front driveshaft aft non-normal looking joint that attaches to the transfer case, & also the rear driveshaft slip-joint needs to be lubed. Ford wants $20 each for the 2-boot clamps, or $191 for the boot kit. This seems very high to me? As for that strange-looking joint on the fwd shaft, I have no idea how much it costs, & if it is a dealer item only? Any inputs would be greatly apprecaited!

I have seen cardone offer reman driveshafts.

On the 2002+ the prop shafts from ford are dirt cheap for the complete shaft..Look it up on teamfordparts or something. It's like under $200. DO NOT I repeat DO NOT get a cardone reman. You'll be replaceing it every other day. I sell them too but I'm telling you ford has then cheap.
