Just got a eatc unit from a junkyard today and put it in and half of the lights on the buttons are burned out. I'm trying to find a video or article that shows how to change the bulbs in it or if anybody here could enlighten me on how to do this thanks for any help

i recall someone reporting on this issue a long time ago. as i recall he did manage to replace the burnt out bulbs. try Goggle'ing it to try to find his posting link, because the forums's search function is fairly useless.

here's a link to what the bulbs apparently look like.

Radioshack may sell them, but i find www.autoillumination.com is a good source for weird little bulbs.

for what it's worth, removing and disassmbling your EATC isn't hard to do. i've had one apart, but i wasn't looking at light bulbs. i think there are only 2 bulbs that light up all the buttons.

here's the link i was thinking of. apparently the bulbs are T4's and one bulb does 2 buttons.

I replaced mine a couple years ago. It really isn't difficult. I want to say there were 4 or 5 bulbs that twist in, and then there is one that is wired in behind the rotary fan switch.

You just have to pull your eatc out and remove the screws around the plastic facing. it will pull off and you'll see the little bulbs. I ordered mine online but I can't remember where from.

Thanks guys just ordered some replacement bulbs I'll try em out next week when I get them
