My crisis is such, Have a 92' Ranger, 2.3, 5spd, 2wd, ext cab. 139,000 miles
Seems like the motor is struggling for air, Now I know alot of cars if you apply vacum to the intake port (egr hookup) it will stall if the intake passages are clear, Anyone know if this is true with Fords as well? And are these trucks known to have egr/intake issues when they get up in age and miles? Have a check engine light, but when I hooked up the reader to the truck it showed no codes stored, temp or permanent, sorry this is so long but my MPG is really suffering now
Thanks for any help
