Hey im back! lol i was gonna post this about 20 minutes ago but got sidetracked reading the seafoam process.
Anyways, same 1997 Ford Explorer as well.
Driver door! (this would not be a problem if it was any other door
))
My driver door locks, the key fob will lock the door, the lock button inside the vehicle will lock the door..
HOWEVER
They keyfob, nor the inside button will unlock the door.
It unlocks, but doesnt unlock. After looking at it, it appears as if it may be jamming? i havent pulled the door panel yet, to bloody hot outside. cranking around 100 degrees right now.
If i pull the door handle (inside) it unlocks itself just fine like its suppose to and opens the door.
Also to note, my driver side (outside) door handle has a broken spring or w/e
its like theres no door handle untill you raise the door handle up all the way, which to tho it still opens the door fine, could that be causing it? outside door handle is cheaper than door lock actuator? or would best thing be to pull the door panel and investigate?
