engine knock after top end rebuild

well i got the HD fan clutch, i dont care about gas mileage if i can rely on my truck to not overheat.

the reason i ask is that after not having a truck that was capable of maintaining a temp beforehand, and having been overheated on multiple times, its just hard to trust the cooling system until i can see it perform well under load. i guess i can just drive it around tomorrow all day.

is there any sort of break in process for having so many parts replaced?

I would do it as with a new car. Get the engine warm and drive it at different RPMs. An early oil change might be advisable.
