Factory 16" wheels

What years did the Explorers start using the 16" wheels as standard? and when did they change the register size, or center hole. I have found them with 2 5/8 and 2 3/4" registers. Also, what years had the "shallow" backspace of 4 1/2" or less? Not gonna fib here, I am looking to put them on an old Dodge truck (69) that has the 4.5" bolt pattern. Modern wheels with deep backspace won't do, but any 16" Ford wheel with the 2.75" register and
4.5" bolt pattern will be a perfect fit.
