Factory Nav issue

Not really sure what to do here. Went to use my navigation and got this error message saying it detected an incompatible navigation disk.

I never got any kind of navigation disk with the truck and it’s been working fine these past few years I have owned it

Since you are using the nav, then it has the disc in it. Follow the screen instructions. Eject the disc, clean it, then reload.

Occasionally it has to be removed and reloaded a few times.
 






Thanks for the info! That’s owners manual is very useful. I never knew the faceplate opened up with a cd loaded behind it lol. However now I have another issue. Mine doesn’t open all the way. It pops out like an inch or so then immediately closes again like it’s getting stuck. I’m afraid to force it open. Always gotta be a cluster fu(k lol
 






Possibly gunked up or a stripped gear, you might try nudging it by putting slight pressure in its direction of travel while it is opening
(either pushing down on the top or pulling out on the bottom)
