If u are doing the ford drive cycle as i am trying, e can it be done with the rear wheels up in the air on jack stands. I thought maybe this could be done as it would be easier to follow the directions. Any ford techs that can yea or nay this as to whether it will work or not. Rwenzing I would like your opinion on this,if u see this, was wondering cause the dealer says they will do it for 100.00, and I thought maybe this is how they do it.I got mine to get rid of the p1000 code then put my tune back in and code came back and u said that was normal. But havent been able to erase the code again. So I am looking for any shortcut that will work.

It is doubtful that this will work for all monitors because there is no resistance to cause the LOAD parameter to increase. It should work on a chassis dynamometer but not on jackstands.

Clearing the P1000 on the road should not be that difficult.
