One of the first questions people ask me when I tell them about the Escape is "how do you fit in there"... in fact, it's been asked twice so far here! 
. Some know, others don't but I'm about 6' 8" so my choice of vehicles is actually somewhat limited. So I thought I'd share a little secret about the Escape... they are great for tall drivers! In fact, what drew me to them was that they were ranked by several websites as one of the best vehicles for tall drivers.
As it is, I would say it is one of the best fitting vehicles I've had, possibly a tie or even slightly ahead of the F-150. I've not only got plenty of legroom but plenty of headroom as well. Not only that but even when I put my seat back as far as I can, there is still plenty of room in the back seat for a full-size adult (maybe not 6' 8", but I've never heard complaints from average size people).
