Hello everyone...I need advise on the following.
What would the difference be between Airtex 3G1004 and 3G1008 (besides the huge difference in price)?
Thing is that I need to replace the FPR / Damper on my wife's 2002 Explorer with the V6 245 4.0L SOHC Engine. It's leaking fuel from the port where the vacumm line is.
I found that both FPR / Dampers from airtex fit the V6 245 4.0L Engine
In 2001- 3G1004 and 3G1008 for different ford vehicles (Explorer, Sport, Sport track).
But for 2002 only 3G1008 shows in Rockauto, Norhtern Autoparts and others.
Main question is if the 3G1004 would work correctly on my 2002 Explorer? I cannot afford a $200 plus part right now.
