Gear shift lever shifting

Sometimes it is hard to shift the gear shift lever from position "P" to position "N" despite pressing the brake pedal. I have observed this, especailly when the vehicle is parked with the front wheels slightly elevated than the rear wheels. Is it normal?

Are you sure its not the electronic lock on the shifter? there was a recall on that.

when you press the break, the gear shifter isn't engaged knowing that you pressed the break right? yeah go to ur dealer for that. i had mines replaced.
