Hi fellow forum members. I am no longer an owner of a 2003 XLT explorer. I traded it in for a new 2013 Escape. I can't say enought about the expert advice i received from this site. My special thanx go to RONDO whose electrical troubleshooting tips saved me many hours and many $$$$. Good luck to you all whose hearts still beat EXPLORER.

My wife loves the Escape. i like the auto unlock feature that activates just by touching the door handle. it has the "wave your foot" rear hatch auto open and the 2.0 eco boost. overall, nice vehicle so far. I looked at the RAV4, GMC Terrain, Nissan Rogue (CVT :-( ) but this one has the looks and the features and i am kind of partial to Ford.

I have an 09 F150 Lariat that i still enjoy. Good luck all..maybe i will stop in occasionally to see the latest yankee ingenuity in action on our beloved Explorers.
