GPS placement

alright i'm gettin a gps unit for my ex. its not in dash its portable. it has a 4.5" screen. I strongly dislike the dash/windshield mounting. Has anyone seen mounts for the vents? I have seen this for satelite radio. Or do you guys have any other ideas? thanks, nathan

the gps should come with a little disk that can be stuck somewhere to provide a smooth surface to suction cup to. I would just epoxy that disk to my vent. But thats me, most people don't like such permanent modifications.

ya i actually just went on ebay and found a whole bunch of vent mounted holders. and one that plugs right into your cig lighter. thatd be perfect for an ex
