HELP HELP HELP on TT

Im about to start doing a torsion twist and never done it before.
If im lowering the truck do i have to jack it up off the ground, or can i just start cranking?

Well just spent the last two hours doing this. Ended up lifting it up made it a little easier. Did 8 1/2 full turns and only got and 1" lower. Now it looks level with the rear. oh well, I'll go more when my blocks come in from explorer express next week (hopefully).
