Help identify this fluid inside my rear brake shroud

I've done the parking brake shoes with the axles in. Of course, the entire differential was on jack stands, but it was still difficult. Needlenose pliers and a flathead screwdriver...

Prking break? What's this parking brake everyone speaks of? I eliminated the worthles POS one on my Mountaineer.

three things,, if its water soluble, its brake fluid, if its not its gear oil,,, if its brake fluid and u leak this much youd definitely be out of brakes by this time, you would see a low or empty brake reservoir,
