Okay what are you talking about with the torsion bar losening it to get 2 inches out of it? I have never delt with a 4x4 I have only delt with import cars. Please help as much as possible. Thank You

Here: this might help Torrsion Bar 101, Everything you Need to look for!

They are basicly like springs, if you loosen them it goes down. Tighten and it goes up. If you could adjust coil springs, this would be almost the same thing.
