I have a 2005 Explorer XLT 4x4. A couple of weeks ago my truck wold occasionally have a problem with going into reverse. I would put it into reverse and it would do nothing. I would step on the gas and it would finally kick in around 3k RPMS. This only happened about 3 times. I had my mechanic check the tranny fluid (since its sealed) and he said that it was fine. Today I got in it for the third time and the car started to shake at idle. Then while driving the car wouldn't shift. The only way it would shift was when I took my foot off the gas. It did this for a good hour and a half while driving. When I got in it the next time it was fine, except for the fact that it wouldn't go into reverse again at first. Any one have any clue what this might be???
