Instrument Panel Plastic?

Does anyone know if there is a way to separate the clear plastic from the black on the instrument panel cover? I assume you could heat it up, and it would pull apart, I just don't know how hot you'd have to get it..

In my 2nd gen that entire piece comes out after taking apart part of the dash, then there's just bolts holding it together

All the ones I've seen are glued together. You can take them apart but usually you have to use a razor knife to seperate them..

Nevermind I got it... I painted inside the the cluster on the cluster bezel, there is a thread of mine if you wanna take a look. I baked the clear piece in the oven at 200 degrees for 10 minutes and then it came loose after some careful prying.
