Intermittent stall @ idle

1994 Explorer w/ 4.0, Auto, 4X4 stalls intermittently at idle. When coming to a stop the engine sometimes shakes, shudders and the stalls. It is very hard to restart. If I catch it in time and get it in neutral, I can rev it up and it will stay running. New catalytic converter, fuel pump, fuel filter, mass air flow sensor, plugs and wires. Any ideas?
