So I picked up some rear tan leather seats from cherrybomb. My interior is grey, and I wanted black to match the front seat covers. I also thought leather would be easier to clean and less dusty for our terrain.

So I tried leather dye, but it was to slow...and this is a offroad rig. So back to the store and I got vinyl paint. They came out better then I thought, just need to scuff them a bit more to get rid of the shine.;)

Wonder if it'll come off on your clothes in wet or hot situations?

That's a pretty novel approach. I've been looking at doing exactly the same thing ever since i saw the results someone on here got with the leather dye. That is pretty shiny though:eek: You think lightly sanding it might help? if you take off too much you can always throw some more on.

I acually saw them use it on a episode of "Trucks!" You just ruff them up with a scouring pad.
