Lincense Plate Light Replacement

Need help replacing license plate light.

I removed the 2 screws securing the light bulb housing cover but the cover won't budge.

Any idea what i'm doing worng?

I encountered the same thing this past weekend, trying to replace each with LED Super White bulbs (fanstastic looking, by the way and real cheap on EBay). In any event, what each cover needs is a fairly aggressive pry by a flat head screwdriver...keep working them at every angle around the thin molding around the sides and they will give. Once you get them off, removing and replacing is a breeze; it's just the first attempt that's the pain in the ass. Over time, the humidity, rain, etc makes the thin molding around the covers swell. So, it's just a matter of prying them with a thin, small flat head screwdriver that will simply do the trick. No more than 1 minute for each of the 2 license plate bulb covers.
