lost key fob

Lost my one and only key fob for my 06 EB. I do however have one from my previous 03 XLT. Can I get the truck to learn this remote? I found a thread on reprogramming here http://www.explorerforum.com/forums/showpost.php?p=1321368&postcount=7

Is this how you do it for the 06 as well? Also, it says I need the old fob to program the new one, which I dont have. Do i HAVE to bring it to the dealer? Also, it has a remote start where i press the lock button 3 times to start it, not sure if this matters

04 Explorer FOB Programming

I followed everone's advice. No Joy. Took it to the FORD Dealer and lo and behold:

Open Driver's door.

Make sure it is unlocked

Twist key 10 times rather than 8 as previously stated.

The remaining instructions remain the same.

I do not know if this is a Gen3 thing or not. I only know it worked on my 04
