Hi,

I recently replaced an O2 sensor on my 2016 explorer. Ever since I swapped it I have been getting a low oil pressure warning when I am idling. Do you have any idea why? The check engine light is not on.

Thank you,

Bill

I’d get down where you worked and check you didn’t accidentally disturb wiring or a clip.

Oil pressure sensor in the side of the block is a fairly common failure even if nothing was disturbed during the O2 sensor replacement. And if you did yank on the oil pressure sensor wiring or connector, check the sensor itself for leaks.
