recently i've lowered the front end of my 98 SOHC sport 1 1/2" by twisting the torsion bars. Got an alignment done too. Question is... is it safe to do this? any long term effects? I got some rancho shocks put on too cuz of this. Thought it might help

The long term effects will be accelerated wear on the suspension components. This doesn't mean they will wear out in a month, it just means that the parts won't last as long as they would on a non modified vehicle.

the life expectancy will be barely less than stock.... not to much less...will modifting your truck cuase parts to wear faster? sure....will you even notice that they fail faster? no.....

hey jim do me a favor tell that to my truck
