So I've recently been made aware that the 5-speed 2002-2003 Ranger FX4 Level II had a manual transfer case. Will this transfer case only work with the manual tranny or can it be made to work with a 5r55e. I just know that manual TC's are more reliable than ETC's and was wondering if the swap was possible. Also what would keep me from swapping a 5MT into the truck aswell. Sorry just things I'm pondering.
