Messed up lights

i have a 98 explorer and the drivers brake light won't turn on the tail light works and the other brakes lights work the bulb isn't burned but it won't work? please help:(

First check fuses. I think each side is on a seperate fuse. Use a test light to see if you have power to the light socket. If not you may have a broken wire or bad connection. Try the hazard lights. What happens?:navajo:
 












look under the back by the bumper there is a connector back there for all the lights,, could be lacking in connection, , test it with a meter , if it tests okay , than clean and reinstall,
 












I just mentioned the test light because they are cheep, easy to see and use. Its A little warmer down here in Florida corkey. I'll send you some heat if you got a big enough box.
