Need help with wiring diagrams

I guess first things first. this is not for an explorer. sorry. i hope that doesn't deter suggestions.


I'm installing an external amp to a factory stereo, but I don't know all the wiring colors. how do i tell which wire into the speakers in the negative and positive, and
for the remote turn on how can i find out which one to tap into for the amp?

You should get an electrical diagram manual for whatever vehicle you're doing this in...
