I have a 99 4x4 2 Door.
It currently has three General Grabber AW and one GT Radial Savero HT Plus.
The GT Radial is near new and one of the Generals is worn but servicable. The other two Generals need to be replaced badly.
It is used pretty exclusively on road, with much snow. I don't want to spend any more than I have to, but have to replace at least the two worn out Generals.
What should I do?
Get two new tires like the GT?
Get three new tires like the GT?
Get four new tires that are more road tires?
Or something else?
Any knowlegable help would be appreciated.
Oh, the Generals are worn only in the center, the outter edges still have significant tread. On a passenger car that would indicate that I had them over inflated; but I am pretty sure these weren't. Any idea what is going on there? Maybe they just had much more tread on the edges to start with?
