Hi everyone I'm new the the Explorer world here and i had a few questions about off-road capabilities of a stock '92 2door. i used to have an 84 Bronco II and could take it anywhere, but now I'm in the Explorer and it seems like a little too much plastic to take a beating. I dont do heavy offroading, just a little mud and climbing some hills, and i was thinking maybe a little lift to clear ruts and things of that nature. What size tires can you fit under these bad boys stock? and with maybe a 2 inch lift? Thanks in advance everybody. :usa: Big Phil

For what your lookin at, look for a coil spacer up front, shackle lift in rear, 3" bl and 33's. That will give you about 5" total lift. or you can go with a 5.5" superlift and rear SOA coversion (search for it) Stock... you may be able to squeeze a 30-31 in there. And dont say they cant take a beating. Explorers, pound for pound, are right up there with any other SUV vehicle.
