After I picked up my blower motor resistor last night at Ford, I let it idle while I got something out of the back. While it was idling, with the ac on, the compressor started releasing freon under very high pressure (I think). Took it to my mechanic and he said it was most likely the fan clutch....although the engine is not overheating. Does this sound right and how are these related? Looks like it is easy to replace.
