Hey there all..
Thought I'd introduce myself since I'm now an owner of a 1995 4x4 XLT Exploder.
My wife and I needed a commuter/grocery getter vehicle mainly for me since I work.. Our other vehicles are:
'95 Jeep YJ Wrangler Sahara (lifted w/ 35"s, 4.56 gears, lockers F&R, Winch, Heavy Duty Bumpers, Ford 8.8 in the rear out of a '97 Exploder etc) (my rig)
'01 Jeep TJ Wranlger Sport (4" lift w/ 33"s, winch, bumpers etc.)
As you see, neither are really up to the task of a 70 mile per day commute. Kind of unpractical to haul friends and groceries in too.
Her parents sold us their rig for a really good deal. They took immaculate care of it (other than it having a lot of freeway miles.. but still rides, runs, and drives like new).
The exploder has just about every option available on it except for the ones that were EB or limited exclusives.
I plan on customizing the rig a bit.. (hard not to want to do that considering we have 2 other rigs that are customized).. but it's still going to be a pavement pounder since we have the jeeps to play with.
