No Sound!!!! Help

ok so i have a 92 ex...when i bought it it wasn't the stock cd player in it....but it was still a ford cd player...

anyways, the thing turns on fine but no sound comes out...

checked the speakers and turns out i have the premium audio package..so i went ot the back and checked the connection at the amp...

so i figured maybe my cd player has an on board amp and i should bypass the factory one....so i ordered a ford factory bypass cable....

is that all i have to do? or am i just completely lost?

just wondering..any suggestions would be great

It could have an internal amp, but your factory amp could be dead, speakers could be done, HU outputs dead... Lots of possibilities.
