I scanned the codes and found that I had 3 codes (P0430, P0808, and P1240) and I'm also hearing what sounds to be an exhaust leak. P0430 I could find info on this site but not the other two. Anybody know what they are?

The ticking sound is worse when it's cold.

This is on a 97 5.0V8 AWD Explorer.

430 is the cat converter is below efficency. 808 comes up as a clutch sensor, which makes no sense. 1240 is either related to that cat converter or a sensor power supply failure. check around the egr tube and driver's side exhaust manifold, as they are prone to leaking.

Thanks for the reply on the codes. I turned the codes off the other day and it's been about 300 miles and they still haven't come back.
