Hey guys im in the process of doin the 4406 electronic shift swap in my 97 5.0 limited explorer. got the transfer case bolted up and the explorer sport tank in and the rear shaft out of a 5.4 expedition. All fit good. My problem is I got a front driveshaft out of the same truck I got the transfer case out of. A 97 expedition with a 4.6. And the adapting ujoint is too small and has play in the shaft and the shaft itself compressed all the way is about a quarter of an inch too short. From what I was reading everyone uses a 4.6 front shaft with the brut force ujoint and that's what I got but it doesn't fit right. Any suggestions or anything sound wrong? Please help!
