Does anyone know where I can get a replacement rear brake line for a 97 Sport? Im having the hardest time finding one! It's the 3/16 steel tube that is known as the rear axle brake tube in my service cd - this tube connects the hydraulics to the left and right rear brakes and sits on the rear axle.

I don't want to have to bend my own tube, find the correct fitting and flange - rather just get a pre-formed, ready to go brake line.

Thanks!

have you tried the local junkyards?

PM 'kbabiak' <-- he typically has many used parts on hand. He's located somewhere in PA.

I suspect you will have to bend it yourself. It's not very hard to do. Just measure how much you need, and get a straight line one from any auto store. Make sure you get one that already has the female fitting ends installed on both ends. That way you don't have to worry with flaring and installing fittings. I just did the rear axel line on my 95. Not a big job. Make sure you can get the rear bleeders loose. Maybe soak them for a day or so with PBBlaster.
