Just installed a remote start on my 2008 Mountaineer. Everything works great... just wondering if anyone with a service manual or wiring diagram could help me locate a few wires. I want to kick on the heated seats and the rear defrost during a remote start.
Depending on how they are wired, there are 2 ways to do this:
1) Send a latched 12v output to both circuits during the entire remote start cycle to juice them up.
2) Send a short (-) pulse after the engine starts to "kick on" the circuits.
I think I need to go with #2 because I can activate the seats and defrost from the dash while the remote start is operating from the dash.
So all I really need to know is which wires need to go to ground. I hope someone can point me in the right direction. Thanks.
