I don't know what year you have but 93 & later specify a 198*F T-Stat.
The ECM & PCM are programed to run with that coolant temp. If you go to far below that
you lose your economy, power, and eventually will foul your Cat Converter with crap you are not burning off coming from your EGR & richer fuel mixture with higher exhaust temps a 198 deg T-Stat provides. Also your engine will not last as long by running out of range like that.
