Seems simple enough, but I can't seem to get the rear hatch inner pannel off. 99 Explorer XLT. Thought it should just snap off some how, but won't budge. I need to get it off to access the rear wiper motor. Any ideas?
hummm.... what year Explorer are you refering to? My 1999 doesn't have a lock indicator or pins at the top of the panel? Acutally once I take of the strap there doesn't appear to be any other visible screws or plugs?
The screws you're talking about aren't actually visible unless you pry the covers off from over them. But being that yours is a later model with the changed hatch, it might be different than mine.
